NOTICE (Water Project)

The Village Public Works Department has begun the state mandated water inventorying project today. Residences on the inventorying list should have received a notice posted to their properties regarding the project last week. This project is expected to go into October 2024.

The water inventorying project consists of excavating the water mains, which are located in the alleyway; excavating the the curb stop, which should be located in the alleyway or slightly onto the resident’s property; and going into the residence’s house in order to inspect the connection to the water meter.

The Village DPW will leave a note stating that they need to see the water meter connection inside the home if you are not at home at the time of excavation.
