NOTICE (Laurium Property Owners):

Beginning next week, the Village of Laurium will begin sending out notices to property owners throughout the village for violating Ordinance #140 (Maintenance of Residential Yards), Ordinance #142 ( Dangerous Dwelling), and Ordinance #145 ((Dangerous Buildings).

These notices will include $100 fines for the 1st violation that will either require the property owner to submit a remediation plan within 7 days, 30 days, or attend a hearing dependent upon the violation. If a remediation plan is approved by the village manager, then the fine will be dismissed.
